The opening of New Holland: August 2016
The island of New Holland is one of the most historical monuments in Saint Petersburg. Founded by Peter the Great in 1719 – only 16 years after the construction of the city began – the island has witnessed every major milestone in the history of the city.
However, the historical value is not everything what this place is famous for. Nowadays, this is the new urban space with a lot of modern cafes, museums of contemporary art, commercial projects and even scientific laboratories. The place was under reconstruction for a long time and all guests and citizens of our city missed it very much. But it will open in August. Come and be a part of this grand event.
