By the way, China Town&#8230; Why is it called China Town? Any suggestions? Some people say because of Chinese people living there! Haha.. Noo, certainly not! You&#8217;ll find out on\u00a0the tour! ;)<\/p>\n<p>Then, of course, <strong>Red Square<\/strong> with it`s awesome panoramic view of <strong>Kazan Cathedral, Saint Basil`s Cathedral, The GUM, the State Historical Museum, The Mausoleum <\/strong>and<a title=\"Kremlin Tour\" href=\"https:\/\/friendlylocalguides.com\/blog\/red-square-the-kremlin\/\"><strong> The Kremlin<\/strong><\/a> itself!<\/p>\n<p>What my tourists\u00a0enjoyed most was the inside view of Saint Basil`s Cathedral. Can you imagine that every centimeter\u00a0is covered\u00a0with ancient murals and mosaic!<\/p>\n<p>Saint Basil`s Cathedral was the tallest building in\u00a0Moscow until 1600, when\u00a0<span style=\"color: #000000;\">Ivan the Great Bell Tower\u00a0was built. Any ideas how tall it was? :)<\/span><\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_328\" style=\"width: 634px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-328\" decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"wp-image-328 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/friendlylocalguides.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/11\/4.png\" alt=\"Friendly Local Guides Moscow\" width=\"624\" height=\"624\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-328\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Red Square and the Kremlin , State Historical Museum<\/p><\/div>\n<p>After Red Square we found ourselves in the amazing <strong>Alexander Garden<\/strong>.\u00a0Generally speaking, the area is &#8230; a river! Which was\u00a0channeled into an undergound\u00a0pipe though to lay out this beautiful garden. Guess in whose honor? :)<\/p>\n<p>Tour is not the tour without The Kremlin! You know, that russians do like all stuff with \u201cthe &#8230;\u201d. The biggest, the tallest, the smallest, etc. There is a great amount of the symbols of this passion throughout Russia, and the Kremlin itself has two of them. <strong>The Tsar Bell <\/strong>and<strong> The Tsar Canon<\/strong>. Of course, we didn`t forget to take some funny photos on our tour! :D<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_329\" style=\"width: 633px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-329\" decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"wp-image-329 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/friendlylocalguides.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/11\/5.png\" alt=\"What is Moscow Kremlin\" width=\"623\" height=\"679\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-329\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Pride of Russia &#8211; Tsar Bell<\/p><\/div>\n<p>The <strong>Armory<\/strong>! As I call it the gem of the Kremlin. I would certainly recommend you to visit\u00a0it bacause it is the treasury of Russian royalty. My tourists were impressed\u00a0by a vast variety of exhibits, among which were\u00a0the carriages and dresses of the XVIII century! Girls, welcome! :D<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_330\" style=\"width: 634px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-330\" decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"wp-image-330 size-full\" title=\"Korchma Taras Bulba\" src=\"https:\/\/friendlylocalguides.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/11\/6.png\" alt=\"Russian restaurant with traditional local cuisine\" width=\"624\" height=\"382\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-330\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Traditional food in the Korchma Taras Bulba Ukranian restaurant<\/p><\/div>\n<p>It is some kind of a tradition to have lunch at the <strong>Ukranian restaurant<\/strong> \u201cKorchma Taras Bulba\u201d. It is a very nice place, which is decorated in a national style. There you will be proposed to drink one glass of cranberry tincture for the road. I told you, it`s a traditional place! Welcome to <a title=\"Facts about Russia\" href=\"https:\/\/friendlylocalguides.com\/blog\/interesting-facts-about-russian-geography\/\">Russia<\/a>! :))<\/p>\n<p>The last sightseeing of our tour\u00a0was the <strong>Victory Park<\/strong>, which celebrates 20 years anniversary of completion this year, by the way.
