On <strong>June 22, 1941<\/strong> Moscow\u00a0Metropolitan began to operate in two modes: as a transport and a refuge during air raids.<\/p>\n<p>8.\u00a0Over <strong>9 million passengers<\/strong> use subway on\u00a0weekdays.<\/p>\n<p>9.\u00a0The system consists of <strong>12 lines<\/strong> with a total length of 327.5 km.<\/p>\n<p>10.
